Order Suspending In-Person Court Proceedings

On March 16, 2020 the Supreme Court of the State of New Hampshire issued “Order Suspending In-Person Court Proceedings” following the March 13, 2020 declaration of a State of Emergency in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Pursuant to the Order, all in-person proceedings in the Circuit, Superior and Supreme Courts will be suspended from close of business on March 16, 2020 through April 6, 2020. Temporary Prohibition on Foreclosures and Evictions in New Hampshire

On March 17, 2020 Governor Sununu issued Emergency Order #4 Pursuant to Executive Order 2020-4 which prohibits owners of non-restricted property or restricted property to initiate eviction proceedings, issue eviction orders or enforce any eviction orders during the State of Emergency declared in Executive Order 2020-04.
